Letter From Secretary General
Dear Participants of OAFLMUN'26,
It is my pleasure to announce OAFLMUN'26. First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has given their utmost effort in organising this conference. As the Secretary-General of this conference, I am truly delighted and honoured to welcome you all. Our conference will be held at Özkent Akbilek Science High School from April 24th to April 26th.
Allow me to briefly introduce myself. My name is Ecrin İrem Gültop, and I am currently an 11th-grade student at Özkent Akbilek Science High School. I have been participating in Model United Nations conferences since December 2022. Throughout these experiences, I have witnessed genuine friendships, effective crisis management, proper approaches to diplomacy, and, undoubtedly, true leadership. Now, it is my turn to help a new generation of participants experience these remarkable opportunities.
The 2026 edition of OAFLMUN will host the following committees: NATO, HCC, UNWOMEN, JCC, UNSC, UNICEF, UNODC, and DISEC. I look forward to welcoming you all to an unforgettable conference experience where diplomacy, leadership, and collaboration will truly come to life.

Letter From Deputy Secretary General
Dear Esteemed Delegates,
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to this year’s conference. On behalf of the Secretariat, I would like to thank everyone who contributed their time and dedication to making this event possible. Organizing a conference like this requires not only effort but also teamwork, patience, and vision, and I am proud to see all these qualities come together here. As the Deputy Secretary-General, it is a privilege for me to welcome each of you to what I believe will be a memorable and inspiring experience.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mert Şeker, and I am currently an 11th-grade student at Özkent Akbilek Science High School. I believe that although being a delegate in Model United Nations is extremely enjoyable, the true peak of the MUN experience comes when you are part of the academic team or responsible for the organization itself. This year, I have been given the opportunity to take on such a role, and I will do my best to use this opportunity to help create a wonderful conference for all delegates.
Throughout this conference, I encourage each of you to engage actively in your committees, exchange perspectives with fellow delegates, and most importantly, enjoy the process of diplomacy and discussion. Whether this is your first conference or one of many, I hope you leave with new knowledge, new friendships, and unforgettable memories.

Letter From Director Generals
As the Director Generals of this year's Özkent Akbilek Science High School Model United Nations Conference, we would like to welcome you to this year's conference, which will be held on April 24th-25th-26th at Özkent Akbilek Science High School. It is an honor to be the Director Generals of this incredible event, together with our wonderful and excellent organizing team.
We are Muzaffer Demir Mutlu and Nazlı Rüveyda Dutal, who are 10th and 11th grade students at Özkent Akbilek Science High School. We started our MUN adventure in the 9th grade with our dear friends . We are very happy to be a part of this conference with them. First of all, we would like to thank our hardworking friend Ecrin ; without her skills and energy, we would not have been able to pull off this conference. Then, we would like to express our gratitude to Mert Şeker, who served as the Deputy Secretary General for this conference. His support and assistance were instrumental in the success of the event.
We faced many challenges in organizing this conference, but together we were able to overcome them all. MUN is a conference that adds color to our lives, and every time we attend it, we have fun, make good memories, and learn new things. We hope OAFLMUN’26 will be a good and enjoyable experience for you. We promise you that we will host you, our esteemed delegates, in the best way possible during these three days.
We have worked so hard and with great dedication for this conference. Our whole team was very enthusiastic and excited, and we are very proud of the outcome. We are confident that all of you will have an enjoyable and unforgettable three days here.
